Our client, a UK company with global operations, designs, engineers, develops and manufactures advanced technology solutions for several sectors. As Director of IT Operations & Service Delivery (End User Services), you’ll drive operational excellence to deliver customer-focussed IT Services across the globe.
Reporting to the CIO, you’ll lead & drive the IT Service Delivery transformation journey to shape the end-user experience, operational resilience and maturity of IT service delivery. You’ll:
- Shape the new ITSM operating model and implement the new ITSM
- Implemented a new ITAM / Asset Management tool
- Lead and develop the global Service Delivery team
- Embed ITIL for consistent processes and standards
- Deployment of new technologies including MDM across the estate and appropriate the support model
- Standardise hardware procurement, oversee licence optimisation, manage MSPs & vendors
- Drive continuous improvement, governance of SLAs/ OLAs, service KPIs

Who we’re looking for
You’re already an experienced Head OR Director of IT Operations & Service Delivery in a manufacturing company. You’ll bring:
- IT Operations transformation (ideally led) or led significant service delivery change projects
- Strong leadership of global IT Operations & Service Delivery in the manufacturing sector
- Track record of driving measurable service improvements across multisite organisations
- Takes ownership, collaborative, pro-active, with drive and a strategic mindset
- Excellent stakeholder management
Location/ Working pattern Work from home / remote in ENGLAND with visits to UK sites and occasional international travel (typically two short trips per year).
Salary To £110k + car allowance £7k + 15% bonus + pension + medical + more
